Full-time Director, Catholic Services

Due to rapid growth, Praesidium is seeking a Director of Catholic Services to work with Catholic religious orders of men and women, Catholic arch/dioceses and other Catholic organizations (e.g., camps, social services, nursing homes, hospitals, etc.) in the United States and Canada. Praesidium’s mission is to reduce the risk that a child or vulnerable adult will be sexually abused by an employee, volunteer, member of the clergy, or by another program participant.


With two decades of experience, Praesidium is the national leader in abuse risk management. Praesidium offers a comprehensive array of loss control and risk management services and products including organizational risk assessments; instructor-led and online training; educational film production; litigation support; incident investigations; and Praesidium Accreditation for Catholic religious orders.


As Director of Catholic Services, you will provide trainings in organizational abuse prevention; assist Catholic religious orders, arch/dioceses, and other Catholic youth serving programs to develop, implement, and comply with best practice standards for the prevention of child sexual abuse in organizations; and participate in collaborative product and service development and delivery with Praesidium colleagues and clients.

Most important of all, you have an opportunity at the national level to ensure the safety of children and vulnerable adults participating in Catholic organizations.

• Establish and maintain strong lasting client relationships.
• Conduct interviews with clergy, employees, volunteers, and program participants.
• Participate in team meetings to analyze findings and prepare recommendations.
• Write and edit reports.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews and meetings.
• Prepare training materials and assist in workshops and seminars.
• Work with other Praesidium divisions to learn best practices across industries.


• In-depth understanding of Catholic doctrine and practice.
• Master’s degree or higher in psychology, sociology, theology, social work, law, canon law, or related discipline.
• Strong commitment to protecting the welfare of others.
• Superior writing skills.
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office and Internet research.
• Professional communication skills.
• Training or public speaking experience.
• Proven analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented.
• Team player, fast learner, flexible, at ease multi-tasking.


The successful applicant must be based in Dallas-Fort Worth.
The position requires up to 50% national travel.
